Strategic Planning And Marketing Strategy



David Cavazos, Assistant Professor of Strategic Management, and Dimitri Kapelianis, Assistant Professor of Marketing, recently addressed the New Mexico chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services on the topic of “Strategic Planning and Marketing Strategy.” The society represents marketing and business development professionals working in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.

Professor Cavazos discussed strategic planning, focusing specifically on how firms in this industry should develop effective strategic plans based on organizational awareness. Professor Kapelianis discussed marketing strategies for architecture, engineering, and construction firms, focusing on how to develop and implement plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
