Anderson Announces New Development Officer

The University of New Mexico Foundation is pleased to announce the hiring of Emily Fox as the new senior development officer at the Anderson School of Management.

Fox was hired after an extensive national search and comes to UNM after spending the past 17 years at the Discovery Center of Springfield in Springfield, MO and serving most recently as its executive director.  At UNM, she will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gift donors and prospects for the Anderson School. Emily will also oversee activities with the Anderson Foundation Board, Anderson Alumni Council, and Anderson community events including the Hall of Fame, the school’s largest fundraiser that recognizes successful Anderson alumni.

Dean Doug Brown of UNM Anderson looks forward to working with Emily and her continued success at the business school. “The whole team is ready to embrace Emily’s leadership, experience and enthusiasm,” said Brown.

“We are so excited to welcome Emily to the UNM family. She is going to be a great fit and asset to the development operation,” says Larry Ryan, VP of University Development at the UNM Foundation.

Emily’s first day at UNM will be Monday, December 9.  She takes over the position from Ernest Rodriguez-Naaz who served as Anderson’s development officer for the past six years.
