Anderson Alum Receives AACSB Award

UNM Anderson alum Ann Rhoades was named a member of the initial list of 100 Influential Leaders of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). AACSB is the premier accreditation body for institutions offering undergraduate, master's, and doctorate degrees in business and accounting. UNM Anderson is among the top 20% of business schools who have earned this prestigious designation and one of only 182 schools in the world to attain both Accounting and Business accreditation through the AACSB. 

AACSB developed the Influential Leaders list as part of its Centennial Anniversary to allow accredited business schools to collectively reflect on, recognize, and celebrate notable graduates. Anderson MBA graduate Ann Rhoades is a popular, nationally recognized speaker on the subject of customer service and how to build a strong service culture.  She was part of the team that launched JetBlue and helped Southwest Airlines and Doubletree Hotels become known throughout the world for their high performing cultures. She is the founding Executive Vice President of People, JetBlue Airways and President of People Ink.  She gives back to the Anderson School through presentations and talks and is the current president of the UNM Alumni Association.

Rhoades joins an impressive Class of 2015 Influential Leaders that includes Colin Powell and Sam Walton.  The complete list of recipients can be found HERE.
