Anderson Dean Craig White travelled to China with UNM President Bob Frank, Dean of the School of Engineering Joe Cecchi, and Anderson Professor Robert Luo in early November.
The group visited Capital University of Economics and Business in Beijing where President Frank signed a cooperation agreement. The signing was followed by a reception to welcome regional UNM alums and the celebrate the opening of the UNM China Representative Office. They also flew to Xiamen to visit Xiamen University before heading to Guangzjou for more university visits.
During the trip UNM met with current partner schools and some potential new ones and explored the possibility of recruiting students in areas where UNM has some additional capacity.
